About me
As a Sarasota native, Bradley is honored to be in the position of supporting his community. Bradley’s grandfather was a children’s social worker, and he remembers hearing stories about his grandfather’s work in the public school system teaching Sarasota’s first integrated class, his work with children with special needs, his development of the child protection team, and his support for families in poverty. These were the stories and influences which Bradley believes planted the seeds for a desire to help others in his heart.
After earning a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in child and adolescent counseling from Columbia International University, Bradley began his focus in children’s mental health and family therapy through his work at two non-profits in the Sarasota area. Bradley has provided mental health counseling, eventually becoming a supervisor and ultimately the clinical director of an infant and early childhood mental health program. Bradley is Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, and a Qualified Supervisor, and has advanced training in: Rutgers University Adoption Competency clinician and certified trainer; Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT); Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT); a leader for "A Window Between Worlds" - therapeutic art interventions; Rostered Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) clinician, Facilitator for the Circle of Security-Parenting Program (COS-P), and completion of advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples. Additionally, Bradley’s writing on Child-Parent Psychotherapy is published in The Encyclopedia of Mental Health Trainings, Certifications, and Credentials:
Dorrill, B., (2025). Child-Parent Psychotherapy. In Bill Owenby & Katherine Campbell (Eds), The Encyclopedia of Mental Health Trainings, Certifications, and Credentials. Arizona: ONBLLC Publishing.
